Victoria Point State School – Preschool Refurbishment, Block G Refurbishment & Modular Demolition

The refurbishment of the Prep block and G block during the Christmas school holidays 2021-2022 comprised the full refurbishment of the classrooms including newly furnished kitchen with new joinery for bag racks and classroom storage. New PWD and ambulant toilets for Prep Block were constructed in compliance with AS1428.1 and DETE standards. Block G included operable wall and hearing augmentation to all teaching units.

The classroom works led to award of the extensive external works variation. External works included demo of existing sheds and fencing, install new titan sheds, new sandstone garden bed with PWD compliant ramp and footpath through turfed area and construction of a new sandpit.
