Description

This project comprised the refurbishment of the administration area within the heritage listed Junction Park Block A building.  Careful detailing and protection was required around the heritage features including the ceiling grille, cornice and skirting.

The works comprised reconfiguration of the space including glazed and timber framed partitions, high spec timber veneer doors, re-configuration of services to suit the revised layout and use, installation of joinery, new floor coverings and construction of new kitchen facilities.

These works were undertaken in a live school environment requiring close coordination with the client regarding access and noise.  Noisy and disruptive works were completed out of hours; daily cleaning was undertaken to maintain clean access routes throughout the building which were shared by the client and construction staff.
