Coorparoo Secondary College Block F Refurbishment
This project was undertaken by Blackwood Projects during the 2016/2017 Christmas school holidays. The scope of works comprised a full internal refurbishment of 17 classrooms and the marine laboratory including structural works to facilitate new operable walls; removal and replacement of asbestos ceilings with new flushset ceilings; carpet and vinyl; blinds; fans and lights; re-paint; extensive joinery; general repair and carpentry works.

Description
The works were procured at short notice, and the tight delivery timetable and industry shutdowns over Christmas required careful planning and management of the works. Through good relationships with suppliers and subcontractors, all products were successfully procured to meet the program; the classrooms were completed and handed-over for teachers to prepare prior to school returning.
