Access & Inclusion Kangaroo Pt

Blackwood Projects recently completed the conversion of an existing public toilet facility to incorporate a new single unisex accessible toilet facility.  Works for this project included the construction of a new accessible parking bay and shared zone on the eastern side of the building within the existing carpark area, a new external access pathway from the accessible parking to the new accessible toilet entry door, and various site improvements.

The Kangaroo Point precinct is a heritage listed site and as such careful consideration was required to retain the original features of the building.  The building is located in a highly popular recreational precinct with limited vehicular access, as such maintaining clear and secure delineation of the construction works was critical.
