Acacia Ridge State School – Disability Access Upgrade

This project comprised a disability access upgrade for Acacia Ridge State School, including construction of a new lift and associated elevated covered walkways, conversion of existing amenities into new compliant accessible amenities, and new PWD car parking.

With the works located centrally in the school grounds, close coordination with the school was required to minimise disruption to its operations. Careful planning was also required before operating mobile plant on site – particularly lifting structural steel with the mobile crane – with a cranage plan detailing extensive exclusion zones agreed before works commenced.
